Bob Nash is the chief instructor and general manager of Wado Guseikai USA, the largest
Wado-Kai group in the US. Born in Japan, he grew up in the town of Tachikawa, and became a student of Dr. Hideho Takagi (8th Dan JKF) as a boy. This association with Dr. Takagi and Guseikai (Takagi Dojo) has continued throughout his life.

After studying at Berkeley (California), Bob spent twenty years in the Sunshine State before
taking up residence in Seattle. He is currently a technical committee member of the USANKF,as well as being an active referee. He teaches Wado throughout the United States and parts of Europe (Sweden, Hungary, Germany, and Holland).

An avid fan of water sports, he is a certified NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors)instructor #13145, and can often be heard repeating the mantra: "I would rather be windsurfing!"

A 6th dan with the JKF Wado Kai, he is also a 2nd kyu instructor and a 2nd kyu examiner. His understanding of where Wado came from and his ability to translate Japanese concepts to a western audience are unique. We are proud to once again welcome Bob to Montreal!
